So I'm taking the SAT Subject test for US History on Saturday and I have no fucking idea what the difference is between it and the AP test? Nobody has told me anythingggggggg

my friend took that one, she didn't study, but she took it a year after ap US history and she did rather well

it's basically the same as APUSH but with extremely generalized questions

generalized?!?! ive been searching and i hear its specific

how well is pretty well? haha i'm hoping for like a 750-800 but i think i might be aiming too high. im pretty beast at US history (VERY easy 5 on the ap exam) but i feel like i just dont know enough shit lol

i have a giant book that has practice tests and summaries of all the subject tests and the book's questions are mostly general us history questions
slavery, major wars, colonization and a touch on vietnam

the scoring is so messed up on these subject tests

i only answered 38 out of the 60-something questions on the chemistry subject test and pulled a 680

and with most tests, you can get 2-5 questions wrong and still get a 800

yes, they're only mc and trust me they're pretty simplistic

do you have to take that math one? math level 2 is seriously a joke, it's THAT easy. the only reason i didn't get a perfect score was because i didn't brush up on my hyperbolas and circle formulas

trust me, you really really DON'T have to stress or freak out over these tests at all
if you've taken any ap classes related to the subject you'll be fine

except for chem. avoid taking the chem subject test at all costs because 1. you can't use a calculator and 2. they don't give you any fucking formulas! there's like over 100 formulas in chemistry

molecular biology would probably be a piece of cake for you too because you took ap bio this year, or at least i think you did?

and math level 1 is a joke but most colleges don't even count that as a real subject test so i wouldn't take that one

are you taking specific subject tests because colleges require them or just to have some subject tests under your belt? because BU required all applicants to take chem and math level 2, and other schools i applied to required spanish and an english-related one
